Kenneth E. Gray, Sr. is a Professor of Law at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and an Of Counsel to Alliance Law Firm International PLLC. Professor Gray specializes in oil and gas law, property law, and estates. His book, Mortgages in Pennsylvania, is recognized as the leading treatise on the subject of mortgages in the Commonwealth. He currently teaches oil and gas law, real property, and estates and trusts at Duquesne and is completing a treatise on oil and gas law in Pennsylvania.
Professor Gray has served as a consultant to Justices John P. Flaherty and Nicholas Papadakos of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court since 1980.
Professor Gray earned a BA at Iona College, an MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a JD from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Illinois (inactive). He is a citizen of both the United States and Ireland.
